"My works explore experiences of place and memory. My practice begins with collecting images from everyday life -moments with people, landscapes and places that capture a feeling or sense of connection. Before painting, I often digitally collage, layer and remove elements to explore how memories are formed; not as a linear story, but as a collection of overlapping impressions. In my paintings, I work with translucent layers of acrylic paint, intense colour, layered surfaces and shifting planes of space, allowing figures and abstracted forms to emerge through accumulated layers of memory and feeling.",
