Janelle Williams is a founding member of Crate59 and has exhibited both independently and with Clyde Williams. Their shared interests include minimalism and experimenting with different surfaces, while their individual approaches remain distinct. Janelle creates work from building remnants, house paint, veneer salvaged from furniture and graphite. Her compositions can resemble old house plans seen from above, with each work evoking a different dwelling, story and narrative.
